The University Access Programme (UAP) is a course which prepares students for study at a British University. It is designed for students who would like to study in Higher Education in the UK and hold an Apolytirion from a Greek public or private school. Access courses to HE in the UK have been around since the 1970s and have been designed and developed with the support of universities and are therefore widely recognized by UK universities.
Our UAP aims to prepare students to a level equal in depth and critical thinking to GCE grades A/B and as a result to give students the necessary subject knowledge as well as the numerical and problem solving skills required for completion for any Bachelor degree in a UK university. It runs for 33 weeks, from October to June, with about 20 academic periods per week (depending on the pathway) and attendance is daily and compulsory. The programme is delivered in English and all pathways include preparation for the IELTS examination, which is necessary for entry to British Universities. Upon successful completion all UAP pathways lead to direct entry to Year One in UK universities for attendance of Bachelor degrees (B.A., B.Sc., BEng.).
Teaching takes place daily through lectures and tutorials and all of our staff are dedicated professionals holding undergraduate and/or postgraduate degrees from UK Universities and with great experience in British Education.

Successful completion of the course depends on attendance, projects, weekly homework, as well as two term examinations and an end-of-year examination. Each scheme of assessment holds a particular percentage towards the student’s final grade and as a result students are able to ‘gather’ marks throughout the year and not depend on one examination that may jeopardise their future of entering a British University.

Our Foundation programme, besides daily lectures and tutorials, is also enhanced with our unique online support platform containing notes, revision homework per chapter as well as past papers with solutions. The programme has a long history, since 1988, and over 3000 students have entered UK universities through it. This establishes the best guarantee that we can provide to prospective students and parents alike.
UK4U British Tutorial Centre also offers an intensive summer foundation course which enables high-profile students to enter the first year at University after an intensive 8 week course taught during July and August each year. This course is suitable for dedicated students who are able to survive a very intensive programme. You should note that some institutions may not accept students from the summer course, since all applications go through “Clearing” process.
