(I)GCSE are UK school secondary qualifications necessary to enter a UK University if you are following a British curriculum. This a two year programme, followed by pupils enrolled in Years 10&11 in British schools in Athens, such as Byron college, Campion, St. Catherines and St. Lawrence.

Realising the importance of these qualifications as part of the entry requirements for UK Universities, as well as other Universities around the world, UK4U British Tutorial Centre feels necessary to run tutorials courses in order to help pupils reach their maximum potential and achieve the highest grades possible.

This becomes even more important when you realise that competition to elite Universities and specific departments depends heavily on (I)GCSE grades and not solely on A-level or IB grades. Statistics published every year by the University of Cambridge International Examinations unit showed that in the last examination series (June 2011) the number of students reaching top marks have increased immensely. Our (I)GCSE tutorial courses are again ‘individually based’ and may run throughout the year or as intensive revision and past paper preparation classes before examinations.

Our most popular course is the (I)GCSE Easter Revision Course. It provides the opportunity for intensive study in the key subjects of Mathematics, English Language and Sciences. The course for each subject will cover the core material found in the specifications of the main examining boards. This is a four day full course and includes revision material, tests and mock examinations. The total number of hours for the course is 16 hours per subject for a maximum of two subjects.
